8 Balla Hoop Insider Hoop Combine Event Recap Part 2
Hoop Insider Events5'11 2020 Justin Gaddy of South Stanly can flat out shoot and knows how to play. He isn't at a big time high school, so he gets under recruited, but I think as coaches see him he can be a steal for a D2 school.
6'1 2021 Knoah Carver out of Ardrey Kell is a smooth guard that plays with pace. He displayed the abilty to score and defend. He needs to get stronger to be considered a D1 guard, but he has time to improve his body and keep working on his game.
5'9 2022 Jahaan Johnson from Charlotte Elite Academy is another heady guard in a loaded North Carolina 2022 class. He can shoot and runs the point guard well. He lacks size and has to get stronger, but what he lacks there he makes up in basketball IQ and awareness.
6'4 2020 Demitri McCall of Lincoln Charter is a long wing who works hard on both ends. He has to improve his ball handle and basketball awareness if he does that he will turn out to be a good D2 player.
6'3 2019 Jason Wray from Crest high came in to the event as a unsigned senior. He has talent to play at some level of college basketball. I see him building his body more, accepting more coaching and criticism and absorbing coach sets as his keys to success.
6'2 2022 Jalante Edwards out of Atkins High is another talented guard in a loaded class in North Carolina. He has a good frame for a freshman. He tested well during the combine test and showed that he can score and be dominate. He can play on or off the ball.
6'7 2020 Tavis Bridges of Starmount High is a raw talented forward who as he learns more about the game of basketball and foot work and floor spacing will be a steal for a college coach.
